ATTN: Filmmakers:
We are pleased to announce that the submittal period for
the 2013 Fallbrook International Film Festival (FIFF) has begun. FIFF accepts
quality films of all types: Narrative Features and Shorts, Documentary Features
and Shorts, and Animation. And we have expanded our awards for the following
categories: Best Dramas, Best Comedies, Best Acton, Best Musical, Best
Documentaries, Best Animation, Best Student Film, Judges Choice and the coveted
Frank Capra Award, providing for an
entertaining three-day event for both filmmakers and movie lovers alike.
Because Fallbrook, California was the home to one of Hollywood’s
all-time filmmaking legends, Frank Capra, FIFF has been fortunate to gain the
of the Capra family and offers the very special Frank Capra Award to
one of our selected films. The 2013 Capra winner will not only receive the
beautiful hand-crafted, solid bronze Capra award, but a grand prize of one
thousand dollars plus accommodations for two for two nights, a dinner for two
at one of our sponsoring restaurants, and two (2), VIP es good for all 2013
Festival events. As in the past, it is expected that Hollywood Director Frank
Capra III, will make the award presentation himself.
