Venezuelan actress Ruddy Rodríguez executive produces and stars in the new film Venezzia, opposite famous Mexican actor Alfonso Herrera. Directed by Haik Gazarian, the film is about love and war in Venezuela during the WWII. When asked about his debut at the first ever Aruba International Film Festival, Haik declared it an honor to represent his film in a country so close to home, especially as the island itself plays a special role in the film. He also thanked Filmfestivals.com for their part in the international recognition of his film; 'without you guys, I wouldnt be here', he stated on his way up the red carpet.
